The Sports Toto operator is running a two-week awareness campaign focused on early prevention among minors.
South Korea.- Korea Sports Leisure has launched a new interactive campaign aimed at preventing illegal gambling among young people. The initiative coincides with the country’s Youth Gambling Problem Prevention Week.
According to the company, the programme was designed to raise awareness about youth gambling problems and the growing risks linked to illegal online gambling targeting minors. Participants can access the campaign through the With Toto website and take part in interactive activities divided into recognition, action and pledge stages.
After completing a registration form, users can complete quizzes, surveys and creative exercises, such as Find Me!, which uses comic-style content and colouring to help participants recognise warning signs related to gambling problems. It promotes the national prevention hotline, 1336. Another section presents fictional scenarios involving young people. Participants are guided through different response options to learn how to react appropriately when facing gambling-related issues.
The campaign also includes a creative writing activity in which participants produce poems centred on gambling prevention and responsible behaviour. At the end of the programme, users are invited to complete a survey measuring changes in awareness and satisfaction with the initiative.
