The South Korean casino operator has signed an agreement with the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality.
South Korea.- Paradise Group has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It aims to strengthen education and research initiatives linked to the integrated resort (IR) industry while also supporting the development of future industry talent.
The agreement includes plans for joint research projects, academic exchanges involving students and faculty members, and the creation of executive and short-term education programmes connected to the hospitality and casino sectors. Paradise Co is expected to offer internship opportunities to students from the Harrah College of Hospitality, while company employees will participate in overseas training and educational activities in Las Vegas.
In a LinkedIn post, the Harrah College of Hospitality described the agreement as an opportunity to “open doors for exciting educational collaboration”. The college also thanked executives from Paradise Group and Paradise SegaSammy for visiting Hospitality Hall and meeting with university leadership.
The delegation included Jonghwan Choi, CEO of Paradise Group and Paradise SegaSammy; Jimyung You, VP of Corporate Planning at Paradise SegaSammy; Jaehwan Kim, VP of Marketing at Paradise SegaSammy; and Jaemo Yang, head of Vision & Strategy Office at Paradise Group.
Paradise Co operates four casinos: Walkerhill in Seoul, Jeju Grand on Jeju Island, Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan, and Paradise City, near the main international airport serving Seoul. A planned new hotel in Seoul has a target opening for 2028.
