Asia.- The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) Index increased by 51.64 points month-on-month to 1,523.84 in April. That represents a 3.5 per cent rise compared with March, although the index remained down by 12.5 per cent or 218.45 points from April 2025.
Five of the nine companies tracked by the index saw share price gains during the month, resulting in six positive contributions and three negative.

The largest positive contributor was Aristocrat Leisure Limited, whose share price rose by 4.3 per cent, adding 53.53 points to the index. Crane NXT also saw a notable gain, with its stock increasing by 10.1 per cent, contributing 7.93 points.
The biggest negative contribution came from Konami, whose share price fell by 2.2 per cent, resulting in a 6.24-point loss.

Performance across US equity markets was positive in April. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 7.1 per cent, the S&P 500 gained 10.4 per cent and the NASDAQ rose 15.3 per cent compared with the prior month.
