Macau.- Government and industry stakeholders have marked the conclusion of Macau’s 2025 Responsible Gambling Promotion 2025 campaign with a Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation at MGM Cotai. The event was co-organised by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) and the University of Macau’s Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming.
At the ceremony, authorities presented awards to 15 casinos and gaming venues recognised by the Responsible Gambling Working Group as “Model Units for Responsible Gambling Implementation,” for their compliance with enhanced standards for consumer protection and regulatory requirements.
Certificates were given to 175 individuals who completed professional training courses, including the Macau Professional Certificate in Gambling Counseling and the Macau Responsible Gambling Instructor Certificate Course.
The 2025 campaign featured a range of activities aimed at raising awareness of gambling-related risks and strengthening public understanding of prevention and support mechanisms. There were industry and community collaborations focused on financial literacy, youth engagement and public education.
